The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent is cancelling all regular non-immigrant visa appointments until further notice due to continuing COVID-19 concerns.

The Embassy will resume normal consular operations as soon as possible. It will notify the public when it reopens for regular service. In the meantime, the Embassy will provide emergency services only for U.S. citizens.

Nonimmigrant Visas

As of March 17, 2020, the United States Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is cancelling routine nonimmigrant visa appointments.  The embassy will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but is unable to provide a specific date at this time. The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment. If you have an urgent matter and need to travel immediately, you can contact consular at ConsularTashkent@state.gov.

Immigrant Visas

As of March 24, 2020, the United States Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is cancelling routine immigrant visa appointments. They will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date at this time. The IV fee is valid and may be used for a visa within one year of the date of payment. If you have an urgent matter and need to travel immediately, you can contact embassy at TashkentIV@state.gov  to request an emergency appointment.
